What is the latest bargain you just got in the last 48 hours?

Cboo94 asked:

times are tough. people are using coupons and flocking to % off bargain sales. what is the latest bargain you just got recently?

My latest bargains were from Cracker Barrel. Went for Linner, they had a patio sale going on. Everything 80% off! I scored 2 faux potted flower plants ($1 each), large wicker ball for my cat 87¢ and a silver nautical themed charm bracelet for $3. Linner was not 80% off. bummer.

Tackle Bargains – Internet Bargains – the Way Forward

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009
Tony Savour asked:

With up market fishing tackle companies developing new and improved fishing tackles the prices are constantly going up. In order to save money one must look towards tackle bargains. More precisely; internet bargains. By shopping online for your tackle you are set to save money, in contrast to shopping in your local tackle shop. When browsing online I have found many tackle bargains on many of the leading tackle brands such as Pure Fishing, Penn and Fenwick. This is great news as the internet allows us to purchase expensive goods, cheaper than their usual R.R.P.

Websites are trying very hard to attract people to purchase their goods online and not from stores. Recently, online shopping has become more attractive because of the rate at which they are reducing the price of goods in comparisons to the high street. This is why currently it is better to shop online than stores. Shopping online is the way forward as every life is beginning to revolve around the internet. If it is cheaper to buy online then why not buy online?

Many websites, I have found, have special offers on their homepage displaying tackle bargains. One website I have found, on its homepage states you will receive a free abu 20fd match reel with everyone order. Special offers like this is what persuades me to buy online and not stores. I have also found that these special deals are constantly changing which means we can always find new deals available. Theses tackle bargains I feel are very useful as they usually have a very large selection of sale items, that normal add up to the amount of stock tackle stores have. With so much on sale on the online stores are able to have a much bigger variety of products to choose from. With this reason alone you can purchase tackle at a lower price, which on the whole saves you a lot of money.

Tackle bargains are found not only in just sale section on website. Some website promote different stocks for a limited time only, with half price or buy one get one free deals in order for the item to become popular. By having these deals means that you try new products because they are on sale. It is very rare to find these kinds of deals in fishing stores, which is why I feel you are better off purchasing goods online rather than in stores.

Buying bargain tackles can be found more frequently online rather than in stores. This is hugely beneficial, as you can save a lot of money and still have top quality tackle at your disposal.

How To Find A Great Bargain On Ebay

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009
Alan Roberts asked:

The huge internet marketplace known as eBay has definitely taken the world by storm. While it’s no secret you can find great buys on eBay, many people who are new to the whole internet shopping mall concept are a little unsure where to begin their bargain hunting. Thankfully, there are a few general guidelines to follow in order to snipe those great deals you find on eBay, as well as how to search for bargain buys no matter what you’re looking for. Anyone can find great deals on eBay; it’s simply a matter of knowing where to look and how to find what you’re searching for.

First and foremost, you’ll want to search for great deals during times no one else will be shopping. Major holidays and late hours during the middle of the night are optimum times for finding great deals, and you don’t even have to be awake to find them! There are several sniping programs you can use that will place your maximum bid close towards the end of the auction, increasing the chances you’ll end up winning the bidding war while you’re sound asleep. This works well, because for most items you want to wait until almost the close of the auction to place your bid so you can avoid bidding wars altogether.

Secondly, you may want to consider buying wholesale on eBay. If you buy large quantities of products you use all the time, you’re sure to get a great deal, save money, and be stocked up for future use. Otherwise, you can always resell the products you won’t need on eBay, as well! There are plenty of search options available to you where you can create very specific searches and find the great bargain you’ve been looking for. Buying wholesale also allows you to receive deep discounts on quality products you’re sure to find a use for in one way or another.

Additionally, take your time to search out listings that are very vague. If people normally can’t tell what a seller is offering from the get go, they’re less inclined to click on the listing. Short, misspelled or vague titles offer an invaluable resource to eBay bargain hunters. You may find great deals this way, and because people won’t click on the listing you’ll have very little if any competition. Who knows what kind of great deals you can find! Similarly, if the listing doesn’t have any clear photos, you can always ask questions to get a detailed report of the item up for sale. Most people don’t bother with listings that are vague or that have unclear photographs, but you can find a great bargain if you take the time to ask the seller questions you may have.

Regardless of how new you are to eBay, you can find a great bargain no matter what you are looking for. With literally thousands of items to choose from on eBay, you’re sure to find a bargain no matter when you shop. However, by following the above general guidelines, you’ll be able to snap up what you’ve been searching for at a great value too!

Tackle Bargains – Smart Consumer

Sunday, December 6th, 2009
Tony Savour asked:

Tackle bargains, are like all bargains: a good deal. I like bargains I am positive you like bargains. This article will give you some positive ideas discussing the topic about how to be a smart consumer in order to save as much money as you can, by buying tackle at bargain prices.

To get the best tackle bargains you need to think out the box and try to buy as little as you can from tackle shops and rather, by more from online tackle shops, which like most items for sale online, are cheaper. With a bigger customer base online tackle shops can supply a large range of stock. Online tackle shops can also reduce the price at which they sell their stock due to the increase in sales. This is why it makes good consumer sense to purchase the majority of fishing tackle online.

It is true to say that if you are a beginner and do not have the necessary “hands on experience” when it comes to fishing, it is better for you to start out by buying your tackle from a high street fishing tackle shop. On the other hand, if you have prior knowledge of fishing, I see it as more beneficial for you to purchase your goods online where tackle bargains are most common. Many website I have found have monthly special tackle bargains that sell top of the range stock at bargain prices. The idea about having special deals means that we can buy different tackle bargains every month, which saves us a lot of money if we bought them at fishing tackle stores. On one website in particular I found a Berkley B2 12FT Carp Rod 3.5 LB reduced to £119.99 from £219.99. From this one example it is possible to see that you are saving in excess of one hundred pounds! At this price you it is like buying one rod getting one free. This kind of deal would never be found in a fishing tackle shop. This is why i strongly recommended that fishermen of today should be smart consumers and buy much of their fishing tackle at tackle bargains found online.

On the majority of the fishing tackle websites they have specific tabs for you to click that provide tackle discounts. This is a permanent section that is constantly updated, which is very useful as new bargains are always popping up. As I said, the majority of online tackle shops have a tackle bargain section if you do not find what you are looking for in one tackle shop, you can easily find another one online. All top makes such as JRC and Okuma are found on the online stores and are on most occasions a lot cheaper then retail stores.

This is why I believe that bargain tackles are more common and better online than in stores that usually only have special offers at certain times of the year, when the season is slow. Whilst online stores are always having a constant tackle bargain

American Auto Bargains Review - Good Or Bad?

Friday, December 4th, 2009
Mark T. Davis asked:

After hearing about it on TV, I decided to look into and write this American Auto Bargains review. Is it really possible to find quality, new model cars at 10 percent of Kelly Blue Book value? In this brief review I will answer this question, as well as several others you may have, pertaining to American Auto Bargains. Hopefully, after reading about my experience with the company, you will have a good idea whether or not it is something you should look into on your own.

Recently, I purchased a vehicle for 10 percent less than the Kelly Blue Book suggested it was worth. Honestly, I thought I was getting a great deal on a good car. Of course, that was before I found out that American Auto Bargains can help you buy a car for up to 90 percent off. Suddenly, my great deal wasn’t so good any more.

Here’s how American Auto Bargains works: first, government agencies like the DEA and FBI (as well as local groups) and lending companies seize cars. For whatever reason, the cars are removed from their owners and put up for auction. From luxury to economy, there are auctions in every county. The cars have clean titles and many have low mileage, too.

American Auto Bargains is your guide to finding these auctions. By joining as a member, you get immediate access to their massive database and can get started finding local auctions right away. Bids start as low as $100, and it goes without saying you can save thousands of dollars on each purchase.

American Auto Bargains is the best place to go to find the auctions that will save you a ridiculous amount of money on your next vehicle purchase. I highly recommend joining the service, they do all of the auction hunting for you, while you sit back and reap the rewards!

Tackle Bargains – Online Purchases

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009
Tony Savour asked:

I have increasingly noticed that online purchasing of fishing tackle has turned into somewhat of a bargain. With more tackle shops trading online the price of tackle is going down, and going even lower in tackle bargain sections of websites. When compared to tackle shops on the high street, it is possible to see there is an obvious price difference. Online shops are much cheaper then tackle shops along the high street. Being the smart headed consumers that you are (hence the reason why you are reading this) I am sure you will warm to shopping online whist reading my article.

I remember when I first began to fish and the only tackle bargains I could buy were the ones covered in dust, in the corner of my local fishing tackle shop. The local fishing shops only reduced fishing tackle to bargains once they became so old no one would want to buy them anymore. The fishing shops would overcharge un-experienced fishermen who had no clue about what tackle was good to use and what price they should pay for them. These small shops were not afraid of cheating the customer as they knew they were the only tackle shop in the high street so tackle bargains were very rare. With the internet however, this is a thing of the past.

The internet has created a consumer revolution, where items for sale can be bought online, at a much cheaper rate then on the high street. The same has happened in the fishing industry. By setting up a shop online you are, in fact, opening up your shops to the world. People can purchase yours good from the other side of the world, and this has done wonders in regards to providing us with tackle bargains.

With more customers purchasing tackle the costs of tackle lower, whilst high street tackle shop prices remain the same. If one looks on the even bigger scale, the online tackle shops purchase their stock from online wholesale tackle shops. This therefore means that the price of tackle is bought much less from the wholesaler, which means prices will be lower for online customers. This knock on effect is very good for us tackle bargain hunters, who can now purchase tackle at a much cheaper rate then we are used to paying.

As mentioned above, because these online tackle stores have a bigger customer client base, their variation in stock needs to increase. This therefore creates another advantage against the high street store, which is limited to the amount of stock it can provide in its store. Online shops can advertise an unlimited amount of stock as the stock is stored and does not need to be displayed etc. It can be advertised online through pictures and videos and then posted to the customer, quickly and efficiently.

Here are just a few key reasons why I believe it is imperative to purchase online in order for you to get the best bargain tackles money can buy.

How much should I bargain down from the suggested retail price of a used Mazda3?

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009
Adam asked:

Here are the basics:

Mazda 3 sport i
43K miles
mint condition / new tires
KBB Suggested Retail: 13,900

A dealer is asking for 13,900, which means this is the starting point for negotiation. How much should I ask off that selling price?

THanks!

Home Design Sense - Bargain Hunting Decorating

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009
H John Johnsen asked:

Interior design for bargain hunters is not new. Everyone is interested these days in making their money stretch as far as it possibly can. There are many possible ways to achieve this. The most important determining factor in your success is the amount of patience and time you are willing to invest in order to find and purchase true items of value and not frivolous purchases which are of significantly less value that you will regret later.

The places you will find most traditional bargain hunters looking for pieces related to interior design are places such as second hand furniture stores, seconds depots, and discount stores. If you shop around in these stores, you are likely to run across great purchases. These purchases might include items such as furniture, linens, accessories, etc.

Another potential place to purchase items would be yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and estate sales. These places are no longer areas where you will find the occasional bargain hunter and enormous amounts of obsolete and junk items. They have been commercialized as being places to find great deals and even the most common shopper has his or her eyes open for that great deal. And; they are still great resources for the bargain hunter who is looking to buy well-conditioned, new and usable items for a better cost then one would find in a department store.

An aspect of bargain hunting that many people do not ever even consider is the labor involved with creating the designs. This can include services such as painting, moving, carpet cleaning, ect. Labor prices are the end of interior design that are often the most costly (with the exception of furniture and flooring). Bargain hunting for labor is a bit different then bargain hunting for actual physical items. You might think that perhaps you can afford to hire someone for less actual dollars an hour that possess perhaps less skill then another more expensive worker. This is a tricky aspect of interior design for bargain hunters.

Keep in mind that workers who have more experience or are better skilled at a certain task will complete the work at a faster pace then the unskilled worker, thus actually evening out the hourly price, and also there is not as much of a possibility of costly mistakes. So, depending on the skill level of the worker involved, you might be better off with the more expensive yet more efficient laborer.

Whatever the market or product you are searching for, be a smart, price-savvy comparison shopper and exercise control over spending amounts. Establishing pre-set spending amounts is a form of self-discipline and should be exercised throughout the interior design process. Bargain hunting can be as simple as taking this principle to heart and applying it to all of your decorating activities.

Finally; your hard work and attention to detail can enormously decrease project costs. So if you have the time and the understanding to see an aspect of the designing through yourself, this alone can turn a large budgeted project into a small one. After all, that elbow grease can bring yu the project you have dreamed about and is now part of your home.

I am looking to buy a used vehicle and have found a nice one at a local dealership. The dealership advertises itself as “no hassle and no haggling”. Can I bargain the price down even though I am willing to pay the price it is currently listed as if needed?
