What Bargain Stocks Should I Buy Right Now?

I’m new to investing, and have a bit of spare money to play with. I’ve been following the recent crisis (like everyone), and unless I’m blind, I’m seeing a lot of opportunity to get some great deals. What might you suggest?

Also, what about the failed banks? With prices so low, can you scoop up a bunch of it for cheap and then sell when it gains a few bucks? I’m not looking for long term here…rather, this is an alternative to a casino. So, I don’t need any conservative voices.
